Dynamic Verbs  الأفعال المتحركة

Stative Verbs  الأفعال الجامدة

تستخدم لوصف أعمال أو حدوث أشياء. مثال:

I drink tea every day.

ويمكن استخدام هذه الأفعال في الزمن المستمر

)Progressive/continuous(

  مثال:

I am drinking tea now.

Examples: 

read- eat- write- go- run- fight- swim

 

 

تستخدم لوصف المشاعر  (feelings) والآراء  (opinions) ولوصف حالة الشيء او وضعه وليس لوصف عمل ما .

مثال: I like coffee

وغالبا لا يمكن استخدام هذه الأفعال في الزمن المستمر (Progressive/continuous).

مثال: I am liking coffee.

لأن Like ليس عملا ولكن مشاعر

سنركز الآن على النوع الثاني من الأفعال وهي Stative Verbs

هذه الأفعال تستخدم للتعبير عن عدة أحوال وأوضاع مثل:

 الملكية ( have- own - belong …)

 المعرفة والاعتقادات (know- understand- believe- think ..  )

 المشاعر ((like- prefer- enjoy- love-

الآراء  أو الحواس  ((feel- sound- smell- taste- look
